I play waterpolo and doing egg beater is how we rest during a game, so that 1 minute rep is nothing in practise we do 10 minute reps while holding a 20 pound medicine ball above our head

Seriously? Woah! I do this automatically just for fun when i’m at the pool 1-2 times a week! And it’s fun!
Swimming is the only fun thing to do when training, NOT zumba. Just my opinion -

As a lifeguard I don’t advise actually using a kick board because if you lose your footing or balance it’ll shoot up and hit you or someone else in the face (which can result in black eyes and bloody noses). Use a Swim noodle instead.
